3.1 With Other Users

When a job is dispatched, Contractors receive Customer name, address, and job details. Customers receive Contractor name, profile photo, trade info, and ratings. This sharing is necessary to facilitate the service.

3.2 With Service Providers

  • Payment processors: To facilitate payments (e.g., Stripe)
  • Cloud hosting: To store and process data securely
  • Analytics providers: To understand Service usage
  • Communication services: To send notifications and messages

3.3 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of NeighborhoodConnect, our users, or the public.

  • Matching Contractors with nearby job opportunities

  • Providing navigation to job locations

Location data is collected only when the app is in use or when you have granted background location permission for job dispatch purposes. You can revoke location permissions through your device settings, though this may limit Service functionality.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and sending a notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
